Kids & English teaching wanted, living with local family in Java
The experience
You'll be teaching kids aged 5-14 in either private lesson or one on one. Teaching around 4 classes a day, each students English level differs and you teach various vocabulary and other helpful concepts mainly through repetition. The volunteers must be kid-friendly, creative and patient in teaching English as some of the students will be shy in the beginning. The volunteers must be fluent in English in order to give correct pronounciation.
What you offer
4 hours of help per day
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
1 day off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Fluent English or Fluent Indonesian
Between 18 and 45 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
Native speaking volunteers are welcomed.
To help with the correct pronunciation.
We provide textbook for the kids and the volunteer you can use as a guide or create some power points or other days to teach vocabulary. If volunteer has ideas for English games, let us know.
The volunteer will teach kids age 6-14 years old.

Activities & Shift
Schedule is flexible and can be different everyday.
Usually 4hr in a day spread over morning, afternoon and evening.
Sunday is time off.
Rules
The volunteers are prohibited to smoke inside the house. No drinking alcohol. No drugs. No weapons. No LGBT ostensible items. During the class the volunteer must follow a proper dress code, no eating and no yelling at children.
