Vegan Kitchen Help at Caribbean Eco Bed & Breakfast
The experience
We are looking for enthusiastic kitchen help to make breakfast for guests in our modern-renovated commercial kitchen. Customer service experience is preferred. Guests dine overlooking the Caribbean Sea each morning. The second half of the morning is spent making lunch for the work crew. The cooking environment is beautiful and peaceful. We have great recipes to share and teach you. There is lots of room for creativity as well.

Activities & Shift
We usually have projects happening Monday - Friday from 7am to noon. This changes some depending on retreat and event schedules. Then we have a big lunch together and time to socialize and explore after that.
We require flexibility if we need to fill shifts on the weekend. If you we shift your workdays you will be sure to get a different day off.
Rules
There are some key aspects of volunteering with us that you should be prepared to follow:
1) Show up ready to work. When you come to the volunteer meeting each morning make sure you are on time, well fed, and have appropriate attire for the day (sun protection, close toed shoes, perhaps a snack).
2) Be ready to get dirty and sweat in the heat for some of your shifts.
3) Always carry a water bottle. Hydration is very important in the tropics.
4) Safety is paramount. If you can't do something safely, don't do it.
5) If you need more guidance on how to complete your tasks, please ask.
6) We provide a home for all our volunteers. We require that people take care and have pride in taking care of it.
7) Treat everyone with respect. Be patient with yourself and others.
