The experience

We are far from taking it for granted that children from the slum area in Dar es Salaam
Mbagala Majimatitu Maliasili can go to kindergarten. Here it is extremely important that
the children aged 3-5 years can attend a so-called "early education school". This is the
only way they will later have a chance of being admitted to a school. Primary school
requires children to be able to read and write and to be able to solve simple arithmetic

Program Details

The Mama Support Community Organization was founded 4 years ago by three young
men named Omar, Mohammmed and Mariam. Omar did an apprenticeship at Raleigh
Tanzania. There he learned, among other things, how he can help people in his slum
area so that the children8 can go to school. Mariam has a degree in finance and
Mohammed has spent many hours with the young children and kept them busy. All three have invested their energy in project work in recent years and have already taken
many first steps against poverty in the slums.
At the moment the school is a small room of maximum 14m2 where up to 30 children
are trained. The children eat twice a day at school, the teacher cooks lunch. The space
is very tight, there is no place for a break, let alone a sports field to "let off steam".
The greatest dream to build family land. The
advantage of this would be that
