The experience

In our hostel , you will take advantage of an incredible view of the mountains and especially of Monserrate. We are located in the middle of La Candelaria, surrounded by local restaurants, art galleries, museums, bakery shops and local design. This is the perfect place to enjoy most of the historical and important places of Bogotá. We consider ourselves as family here, and we offer everybody the best Colombian experience.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We run a coffee shop as well with love, attitude and commitment promoting values and what define us as Colombians and Bogotanians. If you are looking for an authentic way to seize our beautiful city this is the right place.

Activities & Shift

We need volunteers to cover some reception, housekeeping, cleaning , maintenance and customer service shifts ,so we need nice and friendly people for this.Fluent or native English/Spanish is a must, as well as customer service skills. Bring your energy and new ideas for the hostel. We offer free accommodation, and a friendly social hostel to meet amazing people, but we also have a greater connection with the staff and other guests in our hostel.
