Great experience! Suraya, Thomas and the rest of the team were friendly and attentive. If you want to live with locals and learn about the culture I would recommend it. Although there is not much to do in Mpigi it is not a problem as you can go to Kampala which is easy to get to or do something at the shelter, you will Not Ger bored.

It has been one of the most enriching exp. of my life. I shared it with my bf Maria from Col, and we agree it is an absolutely magical place, filled with kind-hearted people. Thomas, the owner, is a cheerful, passionate, and welcoming person who dreams big, love anim. and is always ready to help. The team is enthusiastic and warm making you feel at home from day one. I truly recom. the shelter it's a place that stays in your heart forever. Thank you, the shelter, for everything!
