Program Details
You would stay in a volunteer house next to the nunnery/monastery, overlooking the beautiful Kathmandu valley and lush forest. You would arise at either 4 am and be a part of the morning meditation or you could wake up around 6 am for breakfast. During the day you would teach 7am-2pm (each class is 45minutes). The teachers already follow a English curriculum which you would teach. If you like to spend time in the kitchen, you could spend some time helping to prepare the meals for nearly 100 nuns/monks and help with the clean-up afterwards. In the afternoons you could spend playing with the kids or you could spend the afternoons exploring Kathmandu (we are 6 km away from the Thamel area where there are many shops, restaurants and activities).
