The experience
Come and experience life in a historic cottage once owned by the legendary bushranger Martin Cash. Nestled on 10 acres of bushland, weβre just 15 minutes from Hobart, offering the perfect blend of history, nature, and adventure.
What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift
Weeding, gardening, planting, building maintenance.
What Youβll Be Doing:
π± Helping with home maintenance and gardening
π³ Supporting land care projects on our property
ποΈ Occasionally traveling to our 50-acre block in the Huon Valley for land care and building work
Rules
Staying in a share house situation with 4 other people living in different areas on the property so please respect the other people who live there and their privacy.
Aged between 32 - 43 years old and good, friendly humans!
There is a communal food shelf so you can help yourself to anything there.
