The experience

Come and experience life in a historic cottage once owned by the legendary bushranger Martin Cash.
Nestled on 10 acres of bushland, weโ€™re just 15 minutes from Hobart, offering the perfect blend of history, nature, and adventure.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift

Cleaning, weeding, gardening, planting, building maintenance.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing:

๐Ÿคฑ Corinne & Mark will be expecting their first baby in December. Pregnancy is not easy so will need help in household tasks such as cooking and cleaning

๐ŸŒฑ Helping with cleaning, home maintenance, gardening and looking after the chickens

๐ŸŒณ Supporting land care projects on our property

Rules

Staying in a share house situation with 3 other people living in different areas on the property so please respect the other people who live there and their privacy.
Aged between 33 - 43 years old and good, friendly humans!
There is a communal food shelf so you can help yourself to anything there.
