I had a really good time at the Center. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and the local people are very friendly. My favorite activity was a Saturday cafe, because I get to meet new people and have a good conversation. Sometimes the work can be bit challenging but it is not impossible. In my free time I used to walk around or travel by bus/train to other towns. The bus stop is very close to the Center and nearby Abingdon is walkable (around 1 hour)

I spent almost a month in the Center. The whole buliding was magical since it is very old and has a huge history. The food, my room was amazing. I met amazing and truly kind people who taught me so much and made me so happy that I didn't want to leave. The work wasn't too much and Pascaline made sure we had plenty of free time to visit nearby places like Oxford, London, Bath… The property, the garden(with deers) and the village were beautiful. Knowing that we are helping to make the Center stay alive was amazing. It was my first volunteering experience and it was perfect! Thank you!!

Volunteering at the Center, a former Benedictine monastery (13th century) was a unique experience. Watching the mist, the reddish and the stars on the horizon was priceless. The comfortable private room, the quietness of the place, the organic salads and herbs from the greenhouse, the proximity to Oxford, Bath and London, the socializing with volunteers from different cultures (our team was amazing), and prepare food for the retreat guest were for me some of the positive points; and everything very well managed by Pascaline. Congratulations to her for her dedication. I recommend this volunteer

The Center is an amazing place, even if you are looking for some time to yourself this is the right place. The tasks are simple but every Saturday is so busy. Unfortunately I had to leave early but it was a good experience. Vegetarians and delicious meals are waiting for you, I enjoyed walking around the town in my days off. It's an enormous house which has been built 800 years ago so there is a huge story behind.

My volunteering period was very good. The accommodation is excellent and the opportunities to meet international travellers and practise English are effective. I would like to thank Pascaline for the welcome and I would definitely recommend this experience to other volunteers.

Fue una experiencia muy linda y enriquecedora. Nos sentimos muy cómodos desde el primer día: el lugar era acogedor, nuestra habitación era muy amplia y limpia, las horas de trabajo se cumplían perfectamente y la comida estaba muy bien adaptada para una alimentación vegetariana. Formamos un equipo de trabajo hermoso, con muy buena energía y compañerismo, lo que hizo que todo fuera aún más agradable. También pudimos aprovechar los ratos libres para recorrer y conocer lugares preciosos que estaban muy cerca. En resumen, una experiencia súper positiva que recordaremos con mucho cariño 💛
