Program Details

Let me paint a picture for you. 🌳 Our story begins with my grandparents, who purchased a vast piece of land in this stunning region near Machu Picchu back in the 1960s. 🌄 My grandfather farmed here, living off the land and its resources. However, in the 80s, government regulations forced them to cease some of their activities, including cattle farming, which had been their main source of income. This challenge made their lives much harder, but they persevered.

My mother, with a deep understanding of the government’s goals, founded an incredible project in 1998 to transform this land into a sustainable paradise. 🌿 That’s when the vision for what we now call Mandor began to take shape: a place dedicated to conservation and a harmonious relationship with nature.

As we, her children, grew older, we joined her every year, working together to make her dream a reality. 🌱 Over time, my mother initiated a reforestation project to restore native flora, promote biodiversity, and create a safe home for wildlife. 🦋🌳

After finishing university, I made the decision to stay and support her in making this place thrive. And now, we’re inviting you to join us on this incredible journey! ✨ By coming here, you’ll not only help us further our mission, but also become part of a beautiful legacy built on passion, hard work, and a love for nature. 💚 Together, we’ll continue nurturing the land and ensuring it remains a sanctuary for future generations. 🌍
