What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

We are a farm that facilitates ongoing education of people in caring for our land, our climate and our animals. We are 100% compliant with all that is required in these areas. We take pride in demonstrating to those interested what is involved in producing a quality food product in a caring, respectful environment.

Our farm is a family-operated haven for animals, and we treat every creature with love and respect. Volunteers will assist in daily tasks that ensure the well-being of our animals and the smooth running of the farm. This is a unique opportunity to connect with nature, learn about farm life, and contribute to a sustainable way of living. 🐾

Activities & Shift

Feeding Calves, Assisting with Milking and Cleaning parlour
25 hours per week/ 2 days off
some flexibility in these times

Responsibilities:

🐄 Feed and bed calves with care and attention.
🧹 Clean sheds and maintain tidy living spaces for the animals.
🥛 Assist with milking cows and other routine tasks.
🌿 Help maintain a clean and healthy environment for all farm inhabitants.
🌍 Contribute to general farm upkeep and support the family in caring for the land.
