We are looking for woofers passionate about making a difference! π In exchange for free accommodation and meals, you can contribute your skills or help with services that benefit the children and the community. π
What you offer
23 hours of help per week
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
Weβll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Hiking Tours:
Weβll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Requirements
Beginner English or Beginner French
Over 18 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
The beneficiaries are homeless children, orphans, abandoned children, victims of rape or incest, and those from vulnerable families who are out of school.
The 4 pillars of the project are as follows:
Boarding School (providing care and human dignity)
Agroecological Site (raising awareness among beneficiaries and ensuring project viability)
Education (human development)
Integrated Farm (project autonomy and food security)
Activities & Shift
Participation in the daily life of the Center: interactions with the children through educational, sports, or cultural activities.
Rules
Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge in exchange for any service or skill transfer to the beneficiaries of the Refuge (the residents or the supervising team). There is no employment relationship or remuneration. This is an alternative form of tourism that allows you to discover our culture while also sharing other cultures with the beneficiaries of the Center.
