The experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly volunteer to assist in the daily operations of our hostel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves meeting people from diverse backgrounds, enjoys being part of a dynamic environment, and wants to experience life in a vibrant setting.

What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

Welcoming and interacting with guests.

Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and providing local information.

Helping with cleaning common areas, rooms, and outdoor spaces

Light maintenance work when needed.

Organizing and participating in social events like pub crawls, game nights, or walking tours.

Sharing creative ideas to enhance guest experiences.

Assisting with bookings, emails, and basic office tasks.
