Program Details
We are looking for self-driven, social & creative travellers who are eager to support our hard-working team & add value to the backpackers.
Your day to day tasks will include helping to run in-house activities, socialise with guests, encouraging attendance on tours and most importantly taking good quality photos and videos of everything to be used on our social media and website.
We love when our volunteers come up with their own ideas and suggestions as well. Got a great project idea for our instagram? Want to trial a new in-house activity? We’re all ears and welcome all your ideas and feedback!
In return we provide a private room for solo volunteers and dorm beds for pairs/couples. Free breakfast daily and some dinners, day tours and safaris (not guaranteed due to bookings requirements).
Got different skills we may need? send us a message! We’re open to ideas!
Activities & Shift
The work week is relatively flexible especially throughout the daytime allowing you to balance your role with us whilst exploring the city and experiencing local culture.
We have 4 in-house activity nights each week for you to get involved with and free daily town tours as well, not that you would be required to go everyday.
Other tasks including socialising with guests, encourage them to take part in in-house activity, playing games and encourage them to book activities through our activity desk. Taking note of any complaints and reporting these to our team in good time, which is essential to minimise any negative feedback.
