Hostel Experience in South Korea Seoul 🇰🇷

I was a morning receptionist so my job was pretty easy . Rooms are kinda small but ventilation works good . Food is basic and we can run out of food for couple days but not a big problem because street is full with food places . Volunteers are pretty friendly with age range from 19 to 30s(most of them above 25). It was my first time experiencing and I'm happy that I did it . I would recommend for first time but you need to know that is a hostel and people with every kind of intentions can be found at this place.

This place really provied what it offers . The place is simple so it's fine for just sleeping. It's close to subway and bus stations so it's easy to get around. The work was very simple and quick, and working hours were always respected. Unfortunately I had a bad experience because of some other volunteers, as they create gossip and make problems for no reason. Mentioning that they affected my valuables things, which was not nice at all. Same situation I spoke to the manager about and fortunately he understood the event, and for that reason I preferred to leave the volunteering.

I stayed there for 2 months working at the reception, my first month was great but after I started to have some issues about other volunteers who was sharing the room with me because they didn't want to clean, I asked the host to help me but he said "I cant help' so after sick weeks I started to get frustated with the manager neglect. I made a lot new friends with other guests and got some gift from them too, but the work team and management was not good. Manager dont really care about the volunteers. Hostel is full of mold I left ONE DAY earlier after got disrespected by the host.

Even though I kept telling you what to do for mistakes you have made, you always seemed annoyed and just made excuses. Why should I be nice to you? You were very rude to the guests, and there’s even a bad review mentioning that the staff wasn’t kind on the exact day you were working there’s proof go check.
Also, stop badmouthing other volunteers on Instagram. Everyone who worked here knows that you were the only problem.
You seem to have a delusional mindset.

I stayed one month at the Hostel. Bad Experiences: -really bad mold in the room -no real a kitchen -no common area -not suitable for vegans Good experiences -Doable work -the volunteers were all really nice (but they obviously change throughout the time) -Good location, subway station and bus station is near I didn't get to know the manager as he wasn't there when I got to the hostel, but also didn't introduced himself to me later. It seemed like he didn't really care about me neither the other volunteers. Especially because the mold in the room.

How am i supposed to know if you are vegan or not? You did not tell me 🤦‍♂️, if you told me i would have bought you food for vegan.
And you did not ask me any questions about common area or if we have kitchen. The only questions that you asked me is what happens when you get sick.

Had a good experience at the hostel! Noel is a friendly and relaxed manager, and you can ask him anything. The hours working are less so you have enough time to expore South Korea.

Well there was a lot a lotttt of black mold in the rooms of the volunteers, and the hostel really doesn't have a common area there's a small room that is like a kitchen but only a fridge , storage, and the table , I didn't feel welcome there and because there's no common space there was not a place to hang out and also the host when I arrive there we didn't spoke , I didn't know that he was the host and we talked for one time and it was a question about the job, no welcome no good bye, very sad 😔
