Join us at Mama Support Community Organization in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children living in vulnerable conditions. Many of the children we support are orphans or come from very poor families. Through your time, skills, and heart, you can help create a loving and supportive environment for them to grow,
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Music:
Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Additional fee required

US$ 15
Per day
Fee pays for:
Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project
Description:
This $15 will be divided twice, $10 is guest accommodation and $5 will help one child for orphans
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Dance classes:
Take free dance classes at our place.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Permaculture Course:
Take part in our Permaculture course for free.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
As a volunteer, you will assist in our daycare center and community programs, offering care, attention, and creativity. Whether it's playing, teaching basic English, helping with meals, storytelling, singing, or simply being present — your role will bring joy and comfort.

What You'll Do:
Assist in caring for children aged 2–6 years
Support with basic teaching (numbers, letters, songs, colors)
Play games, read stories, draw, and do creative activities
Help during mealtime and hygiene routines
Bring your own ideas and talents to share with the kids
What You’ll Learn:
Deep cultural exchange and understanding of local Tanzanian life
Skills in early childhood development and community service
Emotional growth through service and compassion
Swahili language basics and African traditions
