Yna, and the hostel overall have been nothing but very kind in my experience! You can always find someone to talk to. You can depend on the english speakers there, but also be pushed to practice your 日本語 with understanding locals while exploring the beautiful city of the hostel. With the work being steady in the mornings and creatively fulfilling in the evenings, shifts being flexible for your travel needs, and the caring coworkers that understand even if you mess up, the hostel is a solid volunteering experience I would recommend to anyone interested.
