The experience

Join us at Javier Permaculture Farm to help implement our Master Plan phase by phase. Your happy hands will assist our farmhands with planting, watering, and harvesting, depending on the season. A meaningful and quiet experience for those passionate about ecological projects and making a permaculture dream come true.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English or Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to serve as Permaculture Apprentices who are ready to engage in the day-to-day activities guided by our Permaculture Master Plan. Your help is crucial for achieving our ecological goals. This is a chance to gain proficiency in regenerative agriculture techniques. We operate with structure, ensuring you get a full site orientation and a pre-departure debriefing to maximize your learning and contribution.


Activities & Shift

1. Pre-arrival orientation on Day 0
2. Site orientation and Familiarization Tour Day 1
4. Start of planting or watering or harvesting (depending on the season of the crops (Day 2 onwards)
5. Pre-departure debriefing over lunch or dinner
6. Accomplish the evaluation form.


Rules

We appreciate peace and quiet. Celebrations are welcome but we hope the wildlife also keeps their peace and quiet by midnight.
