About the Farm:

5,000 Merino sheep and 200 beef cattle πŸ‘πŸ„.
A lively crew of dogs πŸ•, a cat 🐈, and 3 horses (for handling, not riding) 🐎.
Home to hundreds of native Australian animals like kangaroos and wallabies! 🦘🐨


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 21 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We have been Wwoof and Helpx hosts for nearly 20 years.
You help me with farm work then I have extra time to show you special places and things, play tourist guide locally and teach you as much as I can. I never ask you to do something your not comfatable with. 4 to 6 hours a day but most people want more.


Activities & Shift

There is no routine other than breakfast,lunch and dinner and multiple cups of tea. One day may might be mustering 300 sheep, the next might be building a fence with a million dollar view.
Too many jobs to list. Maybe a walk in the bush or tractor work.
