Welcome to our peaceful palm tree farm in the heart of the desert Nestled at the gateway to the Sahara Desert, our farm is dedicated to cultivating high-quality palm trees using traditional and eco-friendly methods. This is not just a place to work—it's a place to connect with nature, experience authentic Moroccan hospitality, and learn about desert life.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: € 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Program Details

As a volunteer on our farm, you’ll dive into a rich cultural exchange and enjoy the unique rhythm of life in the desert. You’ll:

Assist with planting, irrigating, and maintaining our palm trees.

Learn traditional farming techniques and sustainable practices.

Experience the beauty of the desert through stargazing, camel rides, and hikes.

Enjoy delicious homemade Moroccan meals, including tagines, fresh bread, and sweet dates grown right here on our farm.

Immerse yourself in Berber traditions, from storytelling to music.

Activities & Shift

Your help is vital to maintaining our farm and supporting its growth. Depending on the season and your interests, you’ll be involved in:

Planting and caring for palm trees.

Harvesting dates and other crops (when in season).

Assisting with irrigation, including learning about the traditional khettara system.

Helping with small construction or landscaping projects.

Participating in eco-friendly initiatives like composting and sustainable water use.
