The experience

I met Javier during a long backpacking trip in South America, in a brazilian ecovillage where we were working as volunteers in permaculture and eco-building. 4 months later, I was pregnant and another adventurous chapter of our lives started. We want to know enthusiastic people to exchange energies, stories, and activities. We need help to take care of Manuel, a sweet 11 months baby, so is important to have experience in child care.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English and Beginner Spanish

Between 22 and 38 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Italy

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

4 hours help a day, 6 days a week

Activities & Shift

I really love cooking, and it will be a pleasure to serve typical Italian food made with love and also give cooking classes of handmade pasta, lasagna, or gnocchi if you are interested. We are vegetarian but we are also vegan cooking experts (which actually is Javier's job). It will be great to learn your favorite recipe from your country.
One of my dreams was to be a tour guide, so I would like to show you some wonders of my city and tell you about art and history.
We really need to practice English conversation, so it will be great if you could correct our grammar mistakes.

Rules

Bring peaceful energy into the house, be patient and loving with Manuel. We'll be glad if you could avoid cooking meat in the kitchen.
