The experience

Love connecting with people, cooking, and wellness?
Join our holistic center for a meaningful exchange! You’ll host guests, serve breakfast and dinner, support check-ins/outs, guide guests to their therapies, help during events, and sleep onsite. You’ll also be welcome to join our wellness activities. English is a must; Spanish is an advantage. A love for food, people, and good energy is essential.


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English and Intermediate Spanish

Between 21 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Welcome to Oma, a holistic healing center nestled in nature. As part of our team, you’ll help create a warm, peaceful space for guests through food, connection, and presence. You’ll assist with check-ins/outs, serve breakfast and dinner, support wellness events, and help guide guests to their therapies.
English is required. If you speak Spanish, it’s a big plus, and any additional language is highly appreciated.


Activities & Shift

Shifts:
🕗 Morning (8am–11am)
Set up and serve breakfast
Prepare Oma Eggs if requested
Greet guests and assist with check-outs
Wash dishes and cleaning up breakfast.

🌇 Evening (5pm–9pm)
Welcome and check in new guests
Serve dinner (basic food prep required)
Track guest orders and payments
Wash dishes and close kitchen

Events:
You’ll also help during events and ceremonies and are welcome to participate in some of the wellness experiences.

Overnight Presence:
Stay onsite to be available if guests require assistance after check-in. This helps ensure that the space is calm, secure, and running smoothly. Your role is not a night shift; you’re simply asked to sleep on the premises and be available in case any guests need assistance before midnight.


Rules

- English are essential for communication, Spanish, it’s a big plus.
- Be punctual and present during shifts
- Keep the kitchen and guest areas tidy after use
- Record all guest food orders and payments clearly
- Respect quiet hours and support a peaceful atmosphere
- No drugs or alcohol use during shifts or guest interactions
