What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 26 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Solo dad with a 7-year-old looking for help with cooking, cleaning, and general household tasks in a peaceful Madeira home surrounded by nature. Ideal for someone independent, who enjoys kids, and is comfortable lending a hand with my son occasionally. Access to surfboards, skateboards, and a library of English books on art, marketing, and self-improvement. A great fit for someone who loves the outdoors, with easy city access by bus.

Activities & Shift

I’m looking for help around the house, especially with cooking, cleaning, and other daily tasks. Occasionally, you might spend time with my son, helping him with activities or playing. The hours are flexible, about 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the island.
