Expect to do social media content and hostel activities. I volunteered during rainy season so the workload was very low, flexible and relaxed (it wasn't rainy at all). I enjoyed my time there and I would recommend it to digital nomads. It doesn't say in the offer but sometimes they might ask you to wash dishes. As things to improve: the communication, specially on arrival, and the amount of food provided, other than that it was all a good experience. Be proactive, social and don't hesitate to ask for everything you need. Glad to have been part of the team for a month, very underrated hostel.

Absolutetly amaaazing! I had such a great time in Bluefreedom (and I became a Freediver :)) People is so nice and it's nearby Alona Beach! If you are a vegan this is your place, if not, no worries, you can always order food hahahah. The tasks are easy but cool so I highly recommend this place to volunteer!

It was one of the best places I've volunteered at.🥰💕The people truly make this place feel like home. I had so many opportunities, like yoga classes, ice baths, freediving, and more. 🧘🤿The food is also absolutely delicious!🥙 As a social volunteer, we organized activities such as movie nights, family dinners, and tours to waterfalls, and we also managed the social media account. The work is quite easy, and everyone is so helpful and kind. I met amazing people here who truly inspired me.💕 I'd love to stay longer there!!!

I loved my time at Chocolate Hills Hostel! Even when I was working, it didn't feel like work. Everyone there became a family and it was very easy to meet people. Just be aware that the volunteer rooms don't have air conditioning, so it can get very hot. But, the experience and the perks made it worth it.

Chocolate Hills is really filled with some of the loveliest humans I've ever met. The volunteering itself is pretty fun & easy; you organise the social activities for the guests in the evenings and manage the social media profile(s). You also help out in the kitchen once a week washing dishes. There's opportunities to free dive and Panglao / Bohol has so much to offer in terms of nature & activities.

The other volunteers are what truly makes this place special! I felt part of a family and already miss everyone I met. Truly lovely people. As for the work, have in mind that you must be self-motivated as there isn't too much guidance. If you want to try free diving this is the place for you. The host is very generous in regard to that. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom wasn't clean and accommodations weren't cleaned often, nor were we able to clean it ourselves.
