We had a once in a life time experience at the shelter and would recommend to everyone! We got to release baby sea turtles multiple times a day and had the opportunity to watch an adult turtle lay her eggs! Milo and his family were so genuine and kind and the food was unreal! Thank you so much we made memories that will last forever ❤️🐢

Emma and Milo are the absolute best! Had such a blast on a group trip there, we released hundreds of baby sea turtles and was such a memorable experience. The food was amazing and the views were just as good.

This was an incredible experience. You can see and feel the love and commitment the hosts for the project. They are all so kind and it was a joy to spend time with them and at the site.

This was the most beautiful experience. Working with Milo and Emma and everyone on the team was an honor. I would like to go back to the project on my own at a later date to work with them again directly.

The project is family run along with Emma coordinating with the volunteers & they were absolutely great! Everyone was so warm and welcoming. There were so many opportunities to see turtles and participate hands on. The project has been in progress for a while and is expanding which is great and I wish we could have done more work to help with that. Emma was a fabulous coordinator and was so helpful with facilitating transport & any additional activities we wanted to do off site. The site was beautiful and the accommodations were simple but comfortable and clean. I would absolutely come back!

I spent an amazing week here and recommend it to any turtle/sea/nature lover out there looking for connecting with nature in a remote place with a lovely local family and the cutest Baby turtles!🐢✨️ The "work" was really not much, so there is lots of free time (almost the whole day!), be prepared for that. :) I chose this volunteering with the idea of meeting many other volunteers after hearing the camp is almost full, but it was different. They host a Grouptrip staying in another house, doing other activities beside the project every day and stay mostly seperated. Thanks Milo, Emma& family!

I loved this experience! I was a bit unsure at first but after I got to know the other volunteers, the hosts, and more about the project I was able to relax and have fun. Milo was so knowledgeable about the turtles, Sonia was an amazing cook, and Emma was great at organising all of the activities, was so understanding and flexible. If you are even considering this trip, I would recommend that you go. ❤️

Had an absolutely amazing experience—Milo and Sonia were amazing hosts and are doing such amazing work rehabilitating sea turtles and educating others about the process and impact it has, in addition to creating such a large and sustainable impact themselves that will be felt by generations of sea turtles to come!

Staying with Milo, Sonia, Emma and Kevin as well as my fellow travelers was truly the experience of a lifetime. They treated the turtles completely ethically and responsibly, and educated us day one on how to do the same. They taught us about the different kinds of turtles we interacted with, how they run their sanctuary, as well as about the community, the ocean, and the country. I cannot express how much I recommend staying at the shelter to absolutely everyone!!

This was my first group trip and I met some of the most amazing people ever. All the activities were well planned, and we saved lots of turtles! Milo and Sonia are incredible, and our host Emma was super sweet. I'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone!
