Program Details
The role of a surf instructor at Wildmex involves guiding our clients through their surf experiences with us. Lessons include welcoming clients, conducting a land-based lesson, providing equipment, a 10-minute walk to the beach, 1 hour and 45 minutes in the water assisting clients with surfing, returning to the branch, and rinsing and storing equipment.
Depending on the candidate's experience and skill, they may have their own groups or assist other instructors.
Activities & Shift
A minimum of 20 hours of work per week is expected, spread over 5 days, preferably as a surf instructor. However, if there aren’t enough lessons, assistance with general maintenance of the facilities or support at Reception will be requested.
The volunteer may keep their tips (which are quite good), and if they work more than 20 hours a week, they will receive payment corresponding to their skill level as an instructor.
The schedule is between 7:30 am to 8:30pm (only 4 hours at day)
Monday to Sunday with 2 days off per week.
