I arrived with another volunteer and we were not welcomed from the beginning. The host did not respond to our messages letting them know we were on our way there and when we got there, he was not expecting us. He did not engage in any activity with us or let us know what to do in the city, he seemed to not be interested in us being there but only cleaning and cooking for them (which was not part of the deal) The worst was when I tried to have a conversation with him and he got so angry he kicked us out of there being two women in an unknown country and city at 8 pm with all our stuff.

An amazing experience that i will probably repeat once again. This four weeks have been absolutely amazing and magical, I have met so many amazing people, the city is beautiful, it has amazing and many beaches as well as walking tracks. The team was also amazing. I had a really difficult time leaving the hostel as well as Paraty. The whole team was very welcoming, nice, loving and ready to help. One of my best experiences on my trip. Im gonna miss everyone and also the whole spirit that Paraty brings.

Paulo is a great host and have become a friend. He is flexible with time schedule, tasks etc. The hostel felt like home to me. I hope I can come back soon.

El hostel es un hermoso lugar donde compartimos y nos divertimos mucho. La experiencia fue muy linda , cocinamos muy rico y generamos un gran equipo. Mí estadía fue óptima, Paulo es un gran anfitrión , comparte con generosidad y cariño historias y mucho arte. Mis compañeros Camila, Lays, Andrés, Morgana y Abril fueron y son espectaculares. Ojalá pronto pueda volver a verlos. Muchas muchas gracias!!!

Minha experiência na pousada foi incrível. Me senti parte da familia desde que cheguei. A estrtura dos quartos, banheiros e cozinha são ótimas. As escalas são flexíveis e a localização também é perfeita, tudo muito próximo. Paulo e Andrés são super atencioso para explicar todas as taferas e são muito receptivos, sempre se importam com o bem estar de todos. Senti que o Paulo abriu as portas da casa dele para nos voluntarios chamar de "nossa". Muito obrigada por tudo! 💙

Paulo foi o melhor anfitrião até agora, muito receptivo, divertido e generoso. Passei três semanas incríveis na Pousada o hostel, um lugar com muita união e parceria. Vou embora mais leve, feliz e com mais momentos incríveis para guardar na minha coleção. Obrigada por me receber na sua casa e por toda a experiência que me proporcionou. Fui bem recebida pelo dono e equipe, o lugar é bem confortável e aconchegante as tarefas são simples e bem esclarecidas caso precise de ajuda. É um ótimo lugar para conhecer a cidade de Paraty, pois fica bem ao lado do centro histórico e também perto da rodoviária para conhecer as outras praias da região. Viver esse mês em Paraty foi maravilhoso e com certeza eu voltaria ao o hostel!

Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e foi uma experiência realizadora, estou feliz e grata. paraty é um lugar lindo e o hostel fica perto do centro histórico e da praia do pontal. da pra fazer tudo andando, o mercado é perto e tudo mais, fiz amizades com os voluntários, me senti muito feliz e aprendi bastante, com certeza quero voltar

No hostel vivi uma das melhores experiências de voluntariado até agora. Aprendi a partilhar comida, amizade e pertencimento — desde o primeiro dia me senti em casa, acolhida de verdade. Paulo, o anfitrião, foi simplesmente espetacular; Andrés, o administrador, sempre eficiente e paciente nos ensinamentos. E as voluntárias Ana e Alê, com quem dividi quarto, banheiro e rotina, me mostraram, na prática, o verdadeiro significado do voluntariado. Avalio essa vivência como 10/10
