The experience


Join us in making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children in Manywa, Uganda! Miles of Smiles Learning Centre urgently needs a four-classroom block to provide quality education. We're seeking volunteers to help fundraise and support our construction project.
1. Fundraise for the four-classroom block construction (target: $19,001.69).
2. Assist with social media campaigns and online outreach.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Materials for volunteer activities and Donation to project

Description: To support our program, volunteers are kindly requested to contribute $10per day for food expenses. This contribution helps us provide meals and sustain our operations.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent Spanish

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

1. A safe and conducive learning environment.
2. Improved academic performance.
3. Enhanced opportunities for future success.
