đż CG is a one-of-a-kind cultural guesthouse and micro-event space located in a restored 1928 village hall in Hardanger, Norway. Weâre a small, family-run passion project blending music, hospitality, and sustainability. As a Worldpacker, you become part of our creative team, helping us bring events to life, host guests, and maintain the cozy, welcoming vibe that makes the venue special.
Volunteers collaborate directly with us and are encouraged to contribute creatively â whether you're good at organizing, decorating, cooking, filming, or just being a friendly face. This is a great opportunity to experience cultural life in rural Norway while learning about reuse, hosting, and slow living.
Activities & Shift
Your tasks will vary depending on whatâs happening that week, but may include:
Event prep & hosting (setting up for concerts, workshops, tastings, etc.)
Creative upcycling (decorating, DIY projects, styling spaces)
Cleaning & organization (light tidying, helping with common areas)
Outdoor tasks (watering plants, sweeping, helping with seasonal activities)
đ Shifts are flexible. Some days are busy with events, others are slower and allow more free time. We will adapt to your skills and energy.
Youâll have time to relax, explore the fjords, swim, hike, or just enjoy life in a peaceful village surrounded by nature.
Rules
To keep things running smoothly and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that you:
Show up with a positive, respectful attitude
Be open to varied tasks, even if things change day-to-day
Keep common areas clean and help maintain the cozy vibe
Respect the quiet nature of the village â no loud noise late at night
No hard drugs or heavy partying â we love fun, but in moderation
Communicate clearly if you feel unwell, tired, or unsure about a task
Be curious, kind, and open to cultural exchange!
