Andrew has a lot of experiences and a lot of plans with the place which he like to share. There is still a lot of things to do, but because he has a vision with the place he always knows what he wants from you to do. The palce is working pretty good, because he has a system how he manages the place. And the nature around is wonderful and there's a lot of places to visit 😁

Andrew welcomed me for a short visit. The people and the food were amazing! We visited the river most days, which was such a highlight. The work was easy—mainly gardening tasks like weeding and cleaning—and we played lots of card games in our downtime. I was especially lucky to be there while a professional chef was staying, so the food was truly exceptional. I'll really miss the vibe of the house and all the great people. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Andrew is a great host, many thanks for having me. I had a great experience, starting on a new patio project. For a great, cool outdoor area to relax and enjoy meals or just reading a book.Would also be a great spot for watching the many paragliders in the air.For me, it was best to go down to the beach by the river after lunch. The colours of the water is pretty spectacular. Great for sunbathing and meeting locals. Lots of other walks also very close to walk for alone/ friends and nature time. Meeting and spending time with fellow travellers was special and will definitely stay with me!

Gorgeous valley, river just 10 mins walk distance, surrounded by beautiful green mountains! Almost a month has gone by since I got here and I'll be staying for another week! Gabrje it's a very nice place if you are looking to disconnect from hectic rutine and allow yourself to enjoy the nature. Go hiking, cool down in the river and watch the stars. Chores usually start early in the morning and be finished by noon, which allows you to enjoy and relax the rest of the day. Andrew is a kind host, easy going and with lots of stories! And the other volunteers I met are also really nice people.

Great food and a beautiful valley! Pristine river with a beach to swim and sunbathe just 10 mins walk away. Mountains to go hiking and a hammock to relax in on the terrace. The work is hard but fair so long as you don't mind early starts! But this leaves more or less the whole day to have as your own. I got into a great routine and feel much healthier after leaving. Will miss everyone all the best x

It was a real pleasure to stay at Andrew's. The place is nice, the job is easy, and Andrew is always there to explain things. He has a lot of stories from all around the world, it's funny There's not much to do around, but it's a great place for hiking, swimming in the river, and just chilling

I had an amazing time at Andrew's place! I arrived just as he did, and helped get the house and garden ready for summer alongside three other fantastic volunteers. The food was incredible, the company even better, and the weekend mountain trip was truly unforgettable. Andrew is funny, easygoing, full of great stories — and now a friend. I'll definitely be back, and I hope he visits me one day too!

The home here felt very natural an meaningful. We spent time sharing food, trading recipes, and even talking about our gardens and different approaches from our home countries. One of the highlights for me was spending time with their 3-year-old son, who is such a bright and fun companion in the garden and around the house. I also enjoyed meeting other volunteers staying at the house as part of the home - it created a sense of community. Andrew and his family are pleasant hosts, and the area is stunning - I loved the chance to slow down and reconnect with nature.

The Soča Valley is absolutely stunning ! We went down to the river every day, enjoying the rapids and the incredible scenery. Most of us had to hitchhike from the nearest bus station to go to Andrew's place (it's about a 10 minute drive but over an hour on foot) We worked in the morning all together. Andrew is very punctual which is great ! I worked on the computer, helping design the camper van. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short. Due to local inspections and regulations, Andrew had to ask all seven of us to leave early.

I arrived at Andrew's place late in the season, just as he was preparing to close up for the winter. Despite the timing, we managed to shoot two videos, and Andrew gave me an unforgettable introduction to paragliding, which has me hooked now! We even took a day trip to Italy for a flying adventure. :) In my spare time, I enjoyed exploring the beautiful area. There are so many fun things to do nearby! Andrew is a funny, down-to-earth guy, and it was great meeting the other volunteers as well, in that incredibly welcoming environment. Overall, an amazing experience!
