We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers for a dynamic role that covers reception, bartending, and restaurant service. Here’s your chance to dive into the hospitality industry while enjoying the beauty of Manuel Antonio.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Bartending:
Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Discounts on Restaurants:
Get discounts at nearby restaurants.
Discounts on Drinks:
Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.
Discounts on Tours:

Program Details
Reception: Welcome guests, assist with check-ins and check-outs, answer inquiries, and provide top-notch concierge services.
Bartending: Mix drinks, manage the bar, engage with guests, and keep the bar area tidy and inviting.
Waiting Tables: Serve delicious meals with a smile, ensure tables are set perfectly, and contribute to a memorable dining experience.
Kitchen work: Help with pizza preparation and other kitchen tasks when needed.

Activities & Shift
You’ll rotate between roles based on the shift, which could include:
Reception: Handling check-ins/outs, WhatsApp messages, concierge services (tour sales, recommendations), assisting guests, answering calls, and communicating with housekeeping and maintenance.
Bartending & Waiting: Preparing drinks, taking orders, assisting with guest checkouts, keeping the bar and pool area tidy. Morning shifts include assisting with breakfast service.
Kitchen: Occasionally assisting with pizza or breakfast preparation.
Morning shift: 7 am - 1 pm
Afternoon shift: 2 pm - 8 pm
Peak hours: 8 am to 11 am (check-out) and 2 pm to 6 pm (check-in)
Rules
Professionalism: Volunteers must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times when interacting with guests.
Uniforms: You’ll be provided with a uniform for your shifts, and it's expected that you wear it neatly.
Hotel Facilities: Volunteers cannot use hotel facilities (pool, bar, etc.) during shifts.
Behavior with Guests: Personalized service is important—try to remember guests' names and offer tailored service whenever possible.
No Mention of Volunteer Status: Avoid mentioning that you are a volunteer to maintain the professional hotel atmosphere.
Commission Opportunity: If willing to work 8 hours a day, earn 10% service fee on your restaurant sales
