The experience

We hope to create a self sufficient eco project farm that grows food for our family and friends. We have started with bees, a few chickens, Guinea fowls and ducks and hope to add Goats and lots of plants.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

The farm is based in the Toowomba Ranges 1.5hours from Brisbane.


Activities & Shift

We can teach building, carpentry and bee keeping. Other elements of farming we can learn together.

Help with finishing off the house, painting, cleaning, prepping gardens, clearing areas for growing, fencing, building.
Help with organising sheds and spaces
Help with beekeeping if you are keen.
Create a food garden.
Help with planting and animal care

Accommodation is in a 3-bedroom off grid Queensland cottage with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.
You will be provided with your own room, double or queen bed.
Ceiling fans in every room.
