The experience
Are you fluent in English and passionate about teaching and cultural exchange? Join our vibrant volunteer program in the stunning coastal city of Da Nang! With 200$/ week, enjoy free meals and accommodation in a shared dorm with fellow international volunteers, all while immersing yourself in the rich culture and breathtaking scenery of this beautiful location.
What you offer

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Dinner:

Program Details
Catalyst for Change Vietnam is dedicated to making positive impact on youth and disadvantaged women. We partner with local communities in Danang to foster a supportive environment where young people can thrive and reach their full potential. Your tasks:
1. Tutoring: Conduct one-on-one sessions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on speaking and comprehension skills.
2. Classroom Support: Assist teachers in various English classes, facilitating activities and promoting active student participation.
3. Interactive Learning: Engage students in discussions and lead short presentations, utilizing multimedia to enhance understanding.
4. Cultural Exchange: Share your personal experiences to enrich the learning environment and promote cross-cultural understanding.
5. English-Speaking Clubs: Lead and facilitate clubs where students practice English in a friendly and informal setting.
Activities & Shift
Students are from 19-24 years old. Working hours should not exceed 20 hours per week (including teaching and lesson plans preparation). Volunteer Certificate provided after completion.
Welcome & Farewell Parties
To enhance engagement and foster connections among our volunteers, we will host special parties where you can meet the C4C team and network with fellow international volunteers.
City and Hoi An Tours
To fully immerse yourself in the local culture and explore the surrounding landscapes, you’ll have the opportunity to join guided tours of popular city landmarks and nearby attractions in Hoi An.
Rules
As a volunteer with Catalyst for Change Vietnam, you are expected to commit approximately 20 hours per week, demonstrating dedication to empowering youth through proactive engagement. Please respect local customs and values while showing adaptability in various situations. Your flexibility and openness to feedback will enhance the learning experience for both you and the students.
