During these three weeks I was welcomed as if I were family. Hamza was very kind and attentive and allowed me to live in contact with the local community, to learn about their traditions and see wonderful places.

Unfortunately, my time at Tagounite Farm was cut short due to differing ethical perspectives on a few situations that arose, leading me to make the decision to leave. The farm has potential for a meaningful volunteer experience, however, this is on the provision that they address ethical issues that was witnessed during my time there.

I were happy to host this volunteer and regret that their experience ended on a difficult note. One of our dogs, unfortunately, tried to bite a sheep on the neck, and the sheep was almost hurt . A womanworking with us used only her flipflops to try to scare the dog away and protect the sheep—there was no harm intended toward any animal. We love and care for all our animals deeply and always try to handle these rare situations with care. value for other animal best wishes

Hamza and his friend hassan were very generous and welcoming to me and my two friends. We got picked up on a motorcycle when we arrived and dropped off at the farm. It was a 8 minute drive from Tagounite so hazma would pick us up some water or drop us off at town if needed. The whole stay we were tooken care of and ate very good food. Sometimes hazma and Hassan would play some music on there drums to! The house felt like home :). For the work portion we found stuff to do around the farm and house. It was a great experience and I recommend it to others.

Hamza and his mother were kind, but my stay was shorter than planned due to poor communication and disrespect. The house conditions were very different from the platform description. We had to share a blanket, there was no wifi, and food and water were limited. His profile mentioned three meals included, but I only received breakfast. When I asked about the other meals, he said volunteers usually paid €5 per day, something he hadn't mentioned before. I left the next day, and he unfairly left a “no-show” review on the platform.

This place has a traditional lifestyle, very different from modern comforts. It's in a water restricted area, water supply/drainage weren't reliable, some limiting washing&showering. The toilet was an old style, not a flush one. There wasn't much separation between indoors and outdoors, so many flies came inside, and privacy for living/sleeping was some limited. We slept on simple beds and had to buy Sim data enough, buying our own drinking water many times. But the host and his mom did their best to caring us(trip us to dune), even when we left earlier than planned. Good learning experience.

It was a great experience, I discovered a lot of things about the community and the simple life people live there, when I arrived there I found that there was heavy rain there a few days ago and it caused some damage to some old houses, but things were fine, Hamza received me very well, I felt like I was at home, Hamza is a kind person with a big heart, I enjoyed my experience with him and visited some beautiful places there in the community, I hope to repeat this experience in the future.
