Program Details
We offer a peaceful retreat where you can experience authentic Buddhist monastic life with the Monks. Enjoy comfortable accommodations, daily meals, and tea while immersing yourself in our serene environment.
During your stay, you can join cultural activities, help with daily tasks if you like, and learn about Sri Lanka’s rich culture by going on guided tours with the monks, all while being treated as a valued guest, not a tourist.
You’ll have plenty of time for personal reflection, meditation, reading, and meaningful discussions with the monks.
Activities & Shift
We recommend you stay at least 4 days with us if you wish to get a fully immersive experience into the culture, and our traditions.
You may spend the first day relaxing, speaking with the monks, and enjoying our hospitality and peaceful surroundings. Or you may also be invited for tours, trips to temples, or any cultural activities we have on the day of your arrival (we are very flexible, and spontaneous!)
You may help with cleaning your dishes, and gardening, or even assist in the kitchen to learn cooking if this is something you enjoy. -But right now we would love more help with our social media and getting more exposure.
You’re free to take time for yourself, engage in meditation, read, or have discussions with the monks at your own pace.
