As a Mural Painter or Wall Art Artist, your primary responsibilities will include:
Mural Creation: Design and paint murals or wall art throughout the hostel, incorporating local themes, vibrant colors, and creative concepts that resonate with our community and guests.
Collaboration: Work with our team to identify specific areas in need of artistic enhancement and discuss design ideas that align with the hostel’s atmosphere.
Workshops (Optional): If you have the interest, you can also host workshops for guests, teaching them basic mural techniques or facilitating group art projects.
Activities & Shift
You’ll typically work 15-20 hours per week, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. Most of your work will be done during the day, and you can manage your hours based on your creative process and the hostel’s needs.
Rules
Commitment: A minimum stay of 1 weeks is required, giving you ample time to complete your murals and engage with our community. Longer stays are welcome for those looking to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
Professionalism: We expect you to maintain a professional approach to your work, showing up on time and communicating clearly about your progress and needs. Respect for the shared space and our guests is essential.
Independence: While we’re here to support you, we encourage you to work independently and take ownership of your artistic vision. Your creativity is what will bring our hostel to life!
Respect & Collaboration: As you’ll be in a communal living space, it’s important to respect the hostel environment and work collaboratively with our team. We welcome your ideas and input on creating a cohesive atmosphere.
