It was really nice and uncomplicated yet I didn't stay long. Rethymno is a nice City but also the whole area is very beautiful. I really recommend the Host, he was very kind and easy going.

Doing this project in Rethymno was short but great! RNP is very easy going, no fixed schedule, very welcoming and made sure I have everything I need & more. We exchanged a lot of ideas, got some nice shots on beautiful beaches and gorges - felt like a mix of supporting the host's photography journey and discovering beautiful Crete. A good choice if you're after an inspiring volunteering opportunity.

Volunteering in Greece was easygoing and informal, with no set schedule. I spent many days exploring Rethymno's beaches on my own. On days we took photos, we visited beaches, villages, and trails. It's a home stay and a daily meal was included, and I enjoyed lots of downtime. It felt less like a project and more like supporting the host's photography studies and business. The Couchsurfing-style approach meant flexible but uncertain plans. Ideal for those wanting a laid-back stay. Happy to answer questions! 💛

My experience at the RNP Photography Project in Rethymno, Crete was fantastic! The host was warm, helpful, and respectful of our space, yet always up for great conversations. The food was lovely, the sunsets from the balcony were unforgettable, and we had plenty of chances to be creative and collaborate on photography. He also took us to some amazing spots around Crete, making the whole experience truly special. If you're looking for a creative and inspiring volunteering opportunity in a beautiful setting, I highly recommend this project!✨☺️

We had a great experience! We felt very comfortable and welcomed from the start, always professional but also kind. Every day, he provided a well-balanced lunch for us, which we really appreciated. He even offered to take us into the city and would regularly go out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, we felt supported, respected, and at ease during our time there. Highly recommend!

My time in Crete was amazing and the host would take me to many beautiful places, also when he would go to work, he'd drop me somewhere in the city. It's definitely a great opportunity for a solo traveler who is not afraid of being alone. it was especially meaningful for me as if was my first solo trip and I actually had some time for myself with the gorgeous surroundings. the work done there wasn't heavy at all. we'd make some photos while e.g. driving to somewhere or in general combining it with nice experiences. i definitely recommend it!!!

The host was respectful and flexible. He chose locations according to my likings. I didn't like hiking, and wanted to do beach destinations. Also the work flow is not heavy, it was 2 days out of my 9 days stay, which left plenty of room for me to discover crete. This opportunity is perfect for a solo independent traveler. Especially that the host has other job/commitments. Which worked perfectly fine for me and my personal discovery. The house location is 15mins from the center, and there is a public transportation within a 15mins walk. I would recommend this experience

I didn't feel comfortable.first day we agreed that I'll share stories later and post in last 2 days but he kept resisting even though I didn't like the pics he chose but after an argument he sent them all 1000 pics and then I shared the two posts. He's a couchsurfing style host more than worldpacker. He is expecting more than volunteering, not a good recommendation for girls who doesn't know anything about modeling cs as someone work in industry this job cost more than 500€ and he thinks he's giving you more than u deserve. He told me it's better not to say anything bad cs he'll “shit” too :)

1)Thanx for clarifying what kind of volunteers I don't want! If anyone thinks their pics value 1000E (her words), please don’t apply :) Btw if you calc what you saved it was >500 2)u actually posted my edited pics that u said u didn’t like before (u later commented that u liked), hence cancelling your own argument (facts) 3) yes,I try to avoid exchanging 'shit’ that would hinder volunteers from future travels, so I gave u a last chance, but your aggressive stance rather deserved my 1st negative

This was my first time volunteering with worldpackers. It was a very good experience. I helped RNP build his portfolio as a tour guide/photographer. I had great opportunities to practice modelling and also express my own photography ideas. RNP also showed me lots of beautiful hidden gems in Crete.
