The experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly volunteer to join our team at the Zeus is Loose Hostel. The volunteer will assist with the daily setup, preparation, and cleaning of the breakfast buffet. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a vibrant, multicultural environment and are passionate about hospitality and guest services.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 37 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Breakfast Buffet Assistance:
- Assist with the setup and preparation of the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are well-stocked and presented attractively.
- Help in preparing simple breakfast items (e.g., coffee, toast).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the breakfast area during service hours.
- Clear and clean counters, and buffet areas, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests.

Rules

- Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, answering any questions they may have about the hostel or local area.
- Work collaboratively with hostel staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold hostel policies and ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
