The experience

Join our small but growing hostel just steps away from the stunning beaches of Corralejo! We offer a private room with a fridge, access to a shared kitchen, and shared bathrooms. Your main tasks include handling check-ins/check-outs, cleaning, changing sheets, promoting services, and organizing weekly events. You'll also introduce guests to surf courses, cooking classes, and yoga workshops—don’t worry, we’ll provide the briefing!

What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 24 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

As a volunteer, your role involves handling guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring the hostel stays clean and organized, preparing beds, setting up breakfast, and assisting in the planning and promotion of weekly events. You’ll also be in charge of coordinating daily surf classes and managing communications with guests. You’ll work closely with a fun team and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Corralejo.

Activities & Shift

5 days per week: Morning shift (3 hours) + Evening shift (2 hours)

1 day per week: Evening shift for event management and coordination

Volunteers will help with daily cleaning, guest interaction, and organizing surf classes and events.

- Be proactive in organizing and engaging with guests for events.
- Represent the hostel’s fun, relaxed, and friendly vibe at all times.
