Volunteering at the home was a wonderful experience. the home is super peaceful, with a laid-back vibe and few tourists, making it perfect for experiencing Thai culture. The hostel itself felt like home from day one. Working alongside the staff, Eve and Kaohom, was not only easy but genuinely fun. They were warm, welcoming, and made every day enjoyable, I'll miss them a lot. The work was light and honestly, it felt more like taking care of my own space than “working.” Fern, was super kind and even let us use bikes to explore. I couldn't have asked for a better place or people!

The home was an amazing way to get to discover great community and the city of the home. Fern, the host was very attentive and gave really clear and concise instructions for tasks. The workload was very light and simple, and we had many days off in which we could explore the city. The other hostel workers were very nice and welcoming and teaching English to them was very fun and fulfilling to do. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a more quiet laid back experience where you will meet many passing travelers from and to Laos and other destinations.

Really nice and comfortable dorms. The work isint bad and is pretty enjoyable! You work one day on and one day off so it gives plenty of time to explore the area- really nice and local vibe. It's definitely worth renting a scooter to get out of the main area to explore

The home is a very peaceful city in North East Thailand. The guests of the hostel are thaï and foreigners who arrive from Laos for 1 night most of the time. The tasks to be carried out were indeed those described in the offer. I made the beds, took care of the laundry and kept the hostel clean. And I could welcome the foreigners and give them the informations they needed, in english or french ;) The work is done in complete autonomy.

The work was really easy and the hostess was really friendly and communicative. She would only come on weekends but she was always reachable per WhatsApp. The town itself was a bit boring for us because because we decided not to rent a scooter and by foot there isn't a lot to see. The sights like the temple or other attractions were all a t least 1 and a half hour away by car. Overall it was a really nice experience and if you are looking for a calm and friendly investment without a lot of tourist, this is a great place to stay.

A sweet hostel located in a quiet, peaceful, and safe neighborhood, where you'll encounter few tourists. During my stay, I had the opportunity to meet many locals and participate in activities with them. Fern kindly provided me with a scooter, which made getting around much easier and allowed me to visit nearby places effortlessly. The hostel owner, Fern, is a kind and thoughtful person. And my colleagues, Manao and Eve, were incredibly sweet and caring. Despite not speaking English, they were always eager to help, and we shared many enjoyable moments together.

I stayed there for a month, and LayLowHostel is a quiet and peaceful environment. Time passes slowly, work is well managed. Good central location to get around the city, Fern, the manager is a kind and quiet girl, she gave me the scooter and helped me find an experience I was looking for. Is a good place, recommended.
