An exceptional experience to find yourself in the heart of the Amazon, close to a Kichwa community. The tasks are varied, nothing is predetermined, which is part of its charm. The host has an extensive knowledge of his culture and takes great pleasure in sharing it. I remain skeptical about a few aspects, both behavioral and ceremonial.

An amazing experience which made me understand the way of the jungle, the way the communities interact, so many things about the nature in a peaceful and cosy environment. I would strongly recommend it and Misail is a very good host making sure that you have an amazing stay.

Great time here with Misael! Great to see the local community and definitely got welcomed into the family. Got to da traditional cleansing ritual, tour of the Amazon and even got invited to a quinceañera!

My experience at the community overall was positive thanks to the other volunteer and the kids at the community. It's a great opportunity to learn Spanish since almost none of the community speaks English and it's only a bus ride away from the local city Tena. The accommodation was good and had everything you need. Unfortunately for me the only downside was that there wasn't really a plan for volunteers and you had to come up with what you wanted to do yourself, so I would really recommend communicating with Misael beforehand about what exactly you will be doing for your stay.

Foi muito bom conhecer e viver um tempo aqui na casa, fomos muito bem recebidos por Misael e sua família, o local é lindo, cercado por rios, com muitas atividades pra fazer, mas vale frisar que diferente do anunciado os tours não são gratuitos para voluntarios e sim, com descontos. Recomendo fazer o banho de selva com Rami, uma experiência única!
