I was at the school for over a month. I enjoyed working with Erin and the school crew. When I had a school visit, I had the fortune to work with many of their local facilitators who are English students at the local university. They made going to the schools to provide lessons very enjoyable. I really enjoyed the students from primary to high school. They are such entertaining creatures and have so much respect for you, as do the school staff and the teachers. I appreciate my time there and I learned along the way about Indonesian culture and the wonderful people there. Terima Kasih!

This is the first worldpackers project that I felt most welcomed. The host Miss Erin was kind enough to send me an airport pickup and a staff member was waiting for me at the station. When I arrived all the team members warmly welcomed me; that was a first! Most hosts couldn't care less . I insist on mentioning these little details because it overall made me more motivated to support the project; It was neither forced nor fake; It felt like home The area in general was quite nice and we got to explore alot of fun places and meet students in different schools with my fav Mia. Kudos to them!

Volunteering with the school in Bandung was really an amazing experience. For three weeks, I helped students practice English by engaging in classroom activities and casual conversations. We shared local foods, explored Indonesian culture and even visited other cities. Outside of the classroom there are many events such as drawing and movie nights. I joined to share my English skills and ended up gaining cross-cultural friendships, greater confidence in public speaking, and a deeper understanding of Indonesian life. I can't recommend enough. Many thanks to Erin and the rest of the school team!

I had a great time being with the school, Erin and her team are amazing. We had a good time talking and just hanging out, Erin took us even camping at the hot springs which was great and we did lots of other cool activities. Going to the school was always lots of fun, the students are great and it was really nice to talk to them and get them to know a little. Thank you Erin for an amazing time🤗

Difficult to resume 3 months in a few words. I had an amazing time. The Volunteering is very divers, I went to many places including other cities, encounter many student grades and spoke about many topics. Interacting with the students is very interesting and fun. For the other side of this experience. Spending time with Erin, her family, her the school and colleagues was just wonderful. We create unforgettable memories watching sunrise from a mountain, camping by a waterfall or visiting the south coast beach. I can't find anything that I missed while been taking care by the school family. ❤ Merci

Amazing experience in Bandung! A huge thank you to Erin for hosting me so kindly. The volunteering program was very well-organized and clearly structured. Typically, each day you are accompanied by a teacher, and in class, you talk to the students in English about yourself or any topics they're interested in discussing. It's not always easy to keep the students engaged in conversation, but with time and practice, you learn effective ways to encourage them to participate. This experience is truly unforgettable because of the authentic connections you create. Thank you all so much 🤍
