Program Details

So... there are the daily chores of feeding the animals, tending to their varying needs, like trimming the rabbit's claws, moving the cows and collecting eggs.
No one is forced to do anything they are uncomfortable with but bear in mind it is a working farm.
Then there is the market garden and food forest to attend to, along with the nursery, worm farm, compost etc. Depending on the season, we have work to do in the apery (bee hives)
We also have several larger projects in the pipeline, like building a "no smell piggery", establishing a hiking trail and developing a syntropic agro-forestry system.
Not the ideal environment for a vegan.

Activities & Shift

We start the day fairly early, depending on the season between 5:30 & 6:30 tending to the animals.
Then we stop for breakfast after about an hour's work.
The morning session is followed by a nice 2h siesta for lunch and a snooze, then finishing off in the afternoon.
If the weather is nice we will take the dogs and a surfboard and head to the beach for a swim and to watch the sun go down.
