I had the best time at Guesthousethe hostel楽 thanks to Mayumi and all the other volunteers (I even extended my stay). I had a room of three very confortable, felt like my own place. The work was easy and varied + the location is great it's a 5mins walk downtown. I would definitely recommend it to anybody! Merci Mayumi!!

This has been my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers and it has been absolutely fantastic. Mayumi is a very kind and fair person to work for. The hours were very reasonable and I felt like I had plenty of free time to explore Osaka and nearby locations. I was working in the shop and hostel. The work has been very easy and Mayumi is very good at providing the work rota in advance. Whenever I needed a specific day off, she was always happy to accommodate this. The team I've worked with have been so lovely and welcoming. People are also happy to swap shifts where needed. :)

My time at the hostel is a time that I will never forget, I've made so many friends, the work environment was so fun and peaceful, and Mayumi-san is the best boss I've ever had, she is so kind and helpful! Also the location of the hostel is perfect to go anywhere in Osaka! This the hostel feels like family and I would recommend it to anyone!

I had such a great time at Guesthouse the hostel! The host, Mayumi, is very kind and funny, the location is good (near main touristy places like Dotonbori and Namba + well-connected by public transport), and the team was the best!! The tasks are pretty easy, the hours are well-respected, and everyone is quite chill. Moreover, at the hostel you will meet people from all over the world! I will miss my time in Osaka, and everyone that made it so special ;))). Would totally recommend this place if you like to be in the middle of a bustling and vibrant city :)!

My time at Guesthousethe hostelwas amazing, I loved it and couldn't reccomend more. Mayumi-san was the sweetest and the team was the best! 🫶 The work time and tasks is respected, and are quite chill and simple. You have different shifts and sometimes work at the fabrique/antique shop that are not far from the hostel, which is a chill and a different experience. The location is good, close to main points like Namba and Dotonbori. Even tho Osaka can be a bit too much for someone who isn't a big city person, it can also be fun and exciting.

Volunteering here was such a great experience! The other volunteers are welcoming, the guesthouse is cozy and well-located, and I loved meeting travelers from all over. I learned a lot about hospitality while still having time to explore Osaka. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience all in all. The owner is one of the kindest, most open persons you're ever gonna find, and I couldn't even begin to count the times she helped me out during my stay. The team was amazing, and meeting new people all the time made every day feel fresh and new. It was my first worldpackers experience, but I'm sure it's gonna stick with me for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Mayumi and everyone!

Staying at the hostel was my first volunteering experience. And I'm very happy it was here! Mayumi-san, the owner of the hostel, is a very calm, friendly and kind hearted woman, very easy to work for. I met lots of different travellers (mostly non-Japanese) and had some amazing conversations with them! the hostel felt like a home to me, exactly what I was looking for. And to work at her little fabric shop was lovely as well! All in all, I really enjoyed my stay there! It gave me the opportunity to really 'live' inside Japan for a month. An unforgettable experience!
