Volunteer Experience with Orthodox Africa Safaris! :)


The experience

We greet you in the name of our almighty God. Orthodox Africa Safaris is under the Archbishop of Kenya, HE Makarios and we are welcoming volunteers to come and assist us with our different projects in the Archdiocese of Kenya. They range from assisting us with taking care of children, renovating where they live, visiting rescue centers for children saved against FGM among many other things. This is a call to come and see mission work in Africa


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Kenya

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

The program will entail visiting different philanthropic institutions in Kenya under the Orthodox Archbishopric of Kenya. We will visit children homes, orphanages, rescue centers, philanthropic schools and many other institutions with an aim of volunteering. Volunteering is all about giving hope to those who do not have hope. It is all about feeding the hungry, clothing those with no clothes, visiting those oppressed and praying with those who have been afflicted.
