The experience


The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Digital Engagement Volunteer will play a crucial role in enhancing the speaking abilities of young children in our community by integrating digital tools and interactive learning methods. This volunteer position is designed to support the development of foundational language skills while introducing children to the digital world in a safe and educational manner. What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Digital Engagement Program aims to enhance the speaking abilities of young children in our community by integrating digital tools into their learning experience. This program introduces children to the basics of digital literacy while focusing on language development through interactive and creative activities. The goal is to equip children with the communication skills needed for their future education while providing a safe introduction to the digital world


Activities & Shift

Activities: Facilitate interactive learning sessions with storytelling apps, games, and group activities to boost communication skills. Introduce digital literacy through age-appropriate tools, helping children gain essential tech skills. Encourage expression through storytelling, role-play, and group discussions, while tracking each child's progress and offering feedback to parents and educators.

Shift: Volunteers commit to 4-6 hours per day, 5 days a week, typically scheduled for mornings or early afternoons based on the children's routines.

Punctuality:
Volunteers should observe always arrive on time for their scheduled shifts and be prepared to start activities promptly.
Child Safety: Always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children. Follow all safety protocols and ensure digital tools are used responsibly.
Positive Interaction: Engage with children in a positive, encouraging manner. Be patient and supportive of their learning process.
Collaboration: Work closely with ECD educators and other volunteers, maintaining open communication and teamwork.
Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to adjust activities based on the children's needs and developmental stages.
Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of the children and their families. Do not share personal information or images without permission.
