Volunteering here has been a truly beautiful experience. The children and teenagers taught me the value of sharing time and emotions — they are the best teachers. I'm deeply grateful to the host, who made me feel at home from day one. the eco village surroundings, the river, and the chance to connect with the local community made everything even more special. I leave with my heart full and many unforgettable memories. Thank you!

If you want a real immersion in a small village, it is your volunturing ! But be aware that you will live in the village where people are working during the day, so you need to be autonome. I would recommande the position for duo, couple or single that knows how to drive a manual motorbike. If not, be ready to have a lot of alone time in the village. I was there in december, it was cold. I would recommande spring or summer to experience the outside life in the forest and the waterfalls. The kids are really nice, you just need to find ways to make the learning process fun for them to enjoy !

We really wanted to be helpful with the house and the kids, but we never felt really welcomed in Thi's house. The main problem was the communication, in general the rules have never been well explained and we found ourselves in uncomfortable situations. Also, there isn't really a project here, just random ideas of creating a community without knowing what a community is based on, neither a plan whatsoever. This is our advice: If you were unable to accommodate four volunteers, it would have been better not to accept them instead of finding yourself exhausted in a stressful situation.

Volunteering at the eco village in Kon Pring was amazing! Very peaceful. Every day if the kids wanted they came in the afternoon and play and I tried to teach them more english from the drawings or playing cards, they are very sweet and nice. It was cold during my stay so I haven't travel a lot but it's best if you have a motorbike so you can travel nearby to Mang den city or waterfalls and some hiking places. Iris her family and also Thai was amazing! Nice and kind! They helped me with everything and they were very generous. I will miss the quiet and peaceful town and the lovely kids.

Peter and I had a wonderful stay here. Both Thi, the Worldpackers host, and Thai, the accommodation host, were both very friendly and welcoming. The facility is run as a casual drop in place for the village children where they can paint, draw, play games and hopefully learn a bit of English and have a wider world experience. We would sit and interact with the kids and try to introduce English, they were fun to be with and we will miss them. The accommodation is in character with the local village so is very basic but sufficient. Dinners were shared with the hosts. Cooking was on a wood fire
