Are you passionate about teaching and looking for a life-changing experience surrounded by nature?
Join us as a volunteer for one month in a beautiful rural community just minutes away from Baños de Agua Santa, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and peace.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to share their knowledge of English with local children and youth, giving them new opportunities through language learning.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner Spanish

Between 20 and 80 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Who we’re looking for:

Someone with a genuine desire to help, teach, and learn.

Intermediate to advanced level of English.

Passionate about working with children and youth, and ready to give their best.

Able to stay for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Activities & Shift

🌟 Teach basic English to children between the ages of 6 and 12 in a playful, interactive way.

📝 Design fun and creative lesson plans tailored to the students’ level and interests.

🤝 Encourage participation and confidence, creating a warm and supportive learning atmosphere.

⏰ Schedule: Approx. 3 hours of teaching per day, Monday to Friday. Weekends are free for rest or exploration.

Rules

🗣️ Fluent English speaker (native or advanced level).

❤️ Genuine passion for teaching and working with children in a meaningful, community-based environment.

🌈 Patient, creative, and enthusiastic – able to adapt and bring positive energy to the classroom.
