The experience

Hola! We have a cozy house near Genil River, at Pinos Genil village, 7km away from Granada. In there we do courses, conferences, parties and hosting for Warmshowers cyclists.
We need volunteers to work on maintenance, cleaning, painting and gardening.

We don’t sleep there but we spend the whole day working at the house. During the weekend you can come with us to do many outdoor activities like trekking, skiing, biking

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers may work for 4 hours per day, from 9 to 13h. Sometime we will lunch together, but if not they will receive 10€ per day for they to buy their own food.

Activities & Shift

Work will be on gardening, but maybe, if interested, there are may works to do with painting and DIY.
Granada is near, by bus (40 cents, 10 buses a day) or bike (30 minutes without traffic). This is a wonderful place to many mountain activities (walking, cycling, clibing, ferratas, ski...).

Rules

House must be clean and tidy. This is very important.
