Join Us in Tepoztlán for a Unique Experience with Nature and Art 🌱🎨
The experience
We're looking for volunteers who love animals, gardening, and enjoy keeping spaces clean and welcoming. Xtak is an artist's residency and Airbnb nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Tepoztlán, Morelos. Our property features a large garden, an artist studio, and two charming alpine cabins. We rent out these cabins and occasionally host courses and welcome artists for residencies.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Pet Sitting:
Taking care of and looking after pets.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely
Requirements
Between 25 and 70 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
You’ll be helping with basic gardening, maintaining the grounds, and ensuring that our spaces remain clean and inviting. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, contribute to an artistic community, and enjoy the peaceful environment of Tepoztlán. I’m usually on-site 4 or 5 days a week, so you’ll have plenty of support and guidance.

Activities & Shift
Open to your own time except for the dogs feeding times. We rent the cabins and occasionally give courses and have artists staying for a residency. I usually work there 4 or 5 days a week.

No parties, no drugs, no loud music after hours. Respect for the place and the neighbors
