This was my first volunteering experience and I really enjoyed it. The location is amazing as it's right by the tube station and you get a great room. Sarah communicates well regarding the week's schedule and what needs to be done. I felt valued as a volunteer and would recommend to others who want to explore London from such a central location!

I enjoyed my experience at Sarah's place. Sarah is nice, and she will let you know your schedule for the week beforehand. The tasks were easy and manageable. The house is well located, with many shops nearby. I had plenty of free time to do other things around the guest house.

This is my second volunteer experience with Sarah, and I can only express my gratitude and highly recommend it to other volunteers. In London, both the flat and the Airbnb are very well located, in the best neighborhoods, with nearby tube stations (in the guest house, it's practically right in front). Working hours and days off are fully respected, and Sarah is always open to adjustments if needed. In the flat, you'll have your own private room. The tasks involve cleaning and organizing and everything is explained in advance with a schedule. Sarah does everything to make you feel welcomed!!

I really enjoyed my time volunteering for Sarah! The private room is nice. The location of the place is also great, close to the bus stop and underground station and the guest house itself is charming. The work is simple and as described. Sarah was responsive over text and would let me know what needed to be done the day before so I knew what I'd be doing. She also gave me a schedule of my days off a week or 2 in advance so I could plan my days which is nice. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to explore London!

Had a great time in the guest house. Sarah did a great job of making me feel welcome and useful. The tasks varied so no day was the exact same. Mainly cleaning and sorting its a lovely property that you take care of. Had a great stay. Accommodation is a good location you are sharing with another cleaner.

My experience was very good. The housekeeping tasks were simple, as was the work of listing items on eBay. The place is located in the heart of the guest house, so you can explore a lot. The room was comfortable, and the Airbnb host is very kind. I hope to return soon.

The on site cleaner/manager was really nice and we got along well. The tasks he gave me were simple + i really enjoyed the location and my room. On the other hand I had mixer experiences with this host. While i sometimes got to choose which days I want off, I found the communication over text to be quite demanding, with multiple tasks given to me before I could even finish the previous one. Additionally, I felt it was unfair to be asked to make up for 5h when I had to miss a day due to illness and work when I was supposed to be off. I left a week early. Easy work but i expected more respect

We’re glad you enjoyed most of your time with us. To clarify, our advert states that missed days due to illness must be made up for or to contribute to your stay, as we rely on volunteers to keep things running smoothly. When assigning multiple tasks, they were meant to be done sequentially, not all at once, we’re sorry if this felt unclear, we will work on improving communication in this area. However, leaving six days early without notice was disappointing, as it affected our planning.
